improving

My mom puts me down (i'm leaving home soon) I want to tell her- mom I know I have a lot to work on, i know i can be oblivious and careless, but rather then scolding me you should look at my small efforts and improvments. that's how i try to look at myself.

This knowledge protects me from her attacks. The knowledge that I am working on it, even though the steps maybe too small and it's hard to notice.
